About Wagg:

ENVIRONMENT
Wagg take their environmental responsibility very seriously. They participate in local and regional projects that benefit natural diversity, as well as engaging in robust national schemes designed to offset and reduce thier carbon footprint.

CARBON NEUTRAL
In November 2020, Wagg became the first major petfood manufacturer to be certified as Carbon Neutral. They achieved this through a combination of accurate carbon assessment and offsetting for their production, manufacturing, office and all their employees

Some of the projects that helped them reach this goal included:

- UK TREES & REDD+
- KENYA TREES & REDD+
- UGANDA: BOREHOLE
- NORTH DARFUR: COOKSTOVES
- PHILIPPINES: SOLAR
- CAMBODIAN: WATER PURIFICATION
- INDIA: WIND FARMS

BEE AND BUTTERFLY MEADOW
As a part of Wagg's Positive Pawprint initiative, they are growing a meadow to help biodiversity and encourage a few more bees and butterflies. This has resulted in an abundance of bees, butterflies and other insects, as well as attracting a pair of Oystercatchers – wading birds with Amber protection status in the UK as a result of lack of available habitat. Having them set up residence means that they've created an environment diverse enough to support them in a relatively short period of time.

1 MILLION MEALS
At the heart of the Wagg brand, they take great pride in giving all they can to help the community and have donated 1 million meals to pet charities across the UK. Their goal is to increase this number to three million meals donated to animal shelters and those less fortunate.

WAGG WOOD
Wagg are passionate about offsetting the carbon they create as a business. As a result of this, they're currently in talks about planting the first 100-acre Wagg Wood.

PACKAGING
All their dry dog food packaging is recyclable, and they are working on making their treats packaging fully recyclable too.
