NOVA BEEF LIVER WONDER BAR DOG CHEW, LARGE

One chew, three ways to enjoy it.

The Wonder Bar is a hand-poured beef liver chew made from gelatine and collagen. It starts firm, softens slowly as your dog chews, and doesn't splinter. When they're done, the last little end piece doesn't go in the bin: a quick soak and a minute in the microwave turns it into a crunchy collagen puff.

HOW TO USE IT

1. As a chew. Give it straight from the pack for a long, satisfying chew.

2. Softened. For puppies, older dogs or gentle chewers, soak one end in warm water for 3 to 5 minutes to soften the outside. Don't leave it sitting in water.

3. As a collagen puff. Turn the leftover end into a brand new treat:

• Microwave (light and airy): soak the end piece in warm water for 10 minutes, put it on a plate lined with baking paper and microwave on high for 45 to 60 seconds. It puffs up like popcorn.
• Oven (dense and crunchy): soak for 10 minutes, then bake on a lined tray at 180°C for 15 to 20 minutes until golden and puffed.
• Air fryer: works like the oven. Start with a short time and keep an eye on it, as every air fryer is different.

Let the puff cool completely, then break it into pieces that suit your dog's size. Gentle heating changes the texture, not the protein. Puffs keep for a few days in an airtight container, and soften over time.

NO TWO BARS ARE THE SAME

Wonder Bars are hand-poured in small batches with no de-foaming agents or additives, so each one looks a little different. You might see a pale foamy layer that looks like icing, small clear or white bubbles, or slight differences in colour, shape and size. That's all natural collagen setting during pouring, and it doesn't change the quality, safety or taste.

INGREDIENTS

Composition: Beef gelatine, collagen, natural flavour, natural colour (black carrot extract), salt.

Analytical Constituents: Crude protein 74%, moisture 10%, crude ash 0.2%, crude oils and fats 0%, crude fibre 0%.

FEEDING GUIDANCE

• Large bar, approx. 14cm. Nova recommend the Large for dogs over 6.3kg.
• Suitable for dogs from 12 weeks.
• A complementary treat to be fed alongside a complete, balanced diet.
• Always supervise your dog with any chew, and remove it once it's small enough to swallow.
• Make sure fresh drinking water is always available.
